Sales people are just out to sell a car . When you need them after ,pass you on to someone else. I think everyone should be trained in every aspect . When talking to a costumer should be 1 on 1 ,no need to talk on the phone when it rings. & By all means when you talk do not speak a different language. It's very disrespectful.

Dreaded check engine light came on in my hyundai santa fe, lehman hyundai service department took my vehicle, diagnosed the problem and resolved my issue within one week. Was kept abreast of status, provided a loaner and ultimately a new 2.0 turbo engine replacement. Excellent customer service.

Dealership’s service department is woefully unprofessional and lacks even the most basic concepts of customer service. Telephone system is impossible to navigate, can never call in for information, and many service advisors fail to keep customers informed.

No one answers the phone in the service center. They’ll tell you to come pick your car up likes it a rush and when you get there they just look at you and then acknowledge you after 5 mins of just standing there. I just bought a car and I’ve been there 3 times already because it’s giving problems. On top of that they’re saying they’re out of loaners.. like I said I just bought this car less than a month and you still can’t accommodate me? This place is very unorganized and I’m disappointed I came here. It’s actually a regret. This was my first time buying a car and the whole experience for me has been awful. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to even the dead. No exaggeration.

In for an oil change with a new car , two days later
In for an oil change with a new car , two days later engine and oil lights on board engine making horrible noise. Send car back find out after several calls i made i found out they changing oil pump is broken . They could not help me with ride and either to collect my belongings from the car. Not sure at this point if car is safe no one said anything tried to contact management no one calls back or answer my emails.

Lehman had my car for over 3 weeks.
Lehman had my car for over 3 weeks. Not once did they communicate with me. I had to rent a car. I still don’t know if they did the recall or oil change. My air conditioning wasn’t working. Now it works. It was very frustrating. I could not get one person to call me.

Don't bring your vehicle here. It's a waste of your time. They use tactics to deter your from getting your recall done. I set up an appointment and stated the reason. When I came in they didn't know what it was for. Told me they were busy and to come back another day? I said no. It's a rcecall and my car has been acting up. After waiting a few hours they told me they needed to keep it over night. I picked it up and they told me it was fine. Two days later my Sonata shut off in traffic. It didn't start up. Now I set up an appointment through Hyundai HQ for the next day. Twenty minutes later they call me from Lehman and say I have TO WAIT FOR 3 WEEKS just to get it in the shop? What about work, school, kids, etc? Wasting my time and money. I went on their website and they HAVE dozens of openings. I scheduled one and had no issues setting up an appointment. They are full of it. They don't want to honor the recall. So basically Hyundai's warranty is fraudulent if the shops don't honor them!

Been here three times for the same problem caused AFTER an oil change. The fact that I’m denied a loaner car is unprofessional. I now have to sit for who knows how long for someone to tell me that the diagnostic showed nothing and to give me my car back all for it to happen again.

They damaged my vehicle and then pretended that they didn’t. Even though we have before and after pictures, horrible experience which will cost me 1000 to repair, sick of these liars . If a mistake happens , that’s fine but don’t yell and get abrasive with customers. I didn’t even know Michael Santallana was a manager after he was yelling at me. I had to speak with about 5 guys at the same time trying to frustrate me, so I called the police and filled out a report so I will take this to court. It’s amazing this kind of aggressive service still exist as if there will be no solution. I don’t know these guys nor do I think they purposely damaged me genesis, but if your service dept made a mistake , simply fix it instead of acting like fake detectives and being rude. I won’t argue , look at the before and after picture, even rob realized the damaged but couldn’t speak up because the mag angers were being overbearing. Smh it’s not a perfect world but this is not how u treat people, I’ll never refer nor purchase another vehicle from these xxxxx again.

The absolute worst service department ever!
The absolute worst service department ever! I will never return for anything. The utter lack of communication and complete disregard for a customer’s time was unreal. Service Advisor Evelio Martinez was always too busy or just never returned a call as promised. Service Advisor/“Assistant Manager” Cristobal Vidal claimed that the system used to create quotes had been down but he was magically able to produce a price for the work that needed to be done manually after I had been requesting this for a week. My car was there for 10 days without a WRITTEN explanation of what the diagnostic test revealed or even a WRITTEN quote of the work that need to done to fix the problems. I would give a zero rating if I could.

I just trade-in a 2021 Genesis GV80 for a Santa Fe Calligraphy 2023 that comes fully loaded as the GV80 but is less bulky and drive smoother. At Lehman Hyundai all steps of the transaction were easy and transparent. No hard time, what they said is what they do. Special mention and gratitude deserve our salesman Armando Lorenzo. Young man with great attitude and helpful disposition. Knowledgeable of all details of the sale make you feel happy with the deal. After the sale he take care of all the promises they made. Great guy! If you are looking for a Hyundai don’t think twice, Lehman/Armando should be your decision. Kudos to them.

I personally hate Putting Reviews As a Deal Employee Myself for Last 11 Years i have Never Received This Kind of Bad Service from Service Department I drop of my Hyundai Veloster on 11/15/2022 and Was told By Sentiago The Service Advise the Car needed a replacement Engine Which Hyundai Manufacture Approval is Needed and i do Understand the process May take 3 to 4 weeks and i was aware Not to Rush beouse as an Dealer Employee myself its Does takes that much But After 5 Weeks Pass i started contacting the service department without any lock i been Texting the service Advisor Sentiago To Send me an Email stating they Still waiting for Approval because its Been Over 7 Weeks Today 01/10/2023 so i could Process My Complaint to Hyundai Myself But i am Being Ignored! Please for the Love of God i Need some one reach out to me by service Department to explain Why this process taking Almost 2 month My Son Been without a Car for Over 55 Days!

Fui por dos razones. 1ro. Mi Santa Fe necesitaba un arreglo. 2do. Una oferta para cambiar mi auto por el modelo 2022 sin poner dinero y bajando mi letra veinte y tantos dólares, absurdo, desde el comienzo yo sabia que era “fake”. Esas técnicas rebajan la credibilidad, yo creo que hasta el vendedor se lo creyó. De hecho fui por la reparación, de otra forma nunca habría ido. Pero el services desk fue excelente. El resto es Intento de venta.

I had to trade in my 2020 Elantra under distress I was
I had to trade in my 2020 Elantra under distress I was having many issues with the car which should not had the issues being it was a 3 year old car. I did all the maintenance in time so I do belong the car was a lemon in the beginning and I don’t believe it was inspected properly. I now have a 2023 Elantra in which I’m starting all over with new car payments and at the senior citizen age I am I didn’t want to be forced to get another car. Im scheduled to retire next year and I wanted to be half way done with payments. I found a lot of loop holes in the service department in which I’m not a happy customer. Over all I believe the dealership has its issues and need to be fixed to be a better dealership. I can go on and on but I’m going to stop here. I don’t believe I will get any feedback on my issues so I thank the company for allowing me to share the little experience on here.

I did all the maintenance in time so I do belong the car was a lemon in the beginning and I don’t believe it was inspected properly. I now have a 2023 Elantra in which I’m starting all over with new car payments and at the senior citizen age I am I didn’t want to be forced to get another car. Im scheduled to retire next year and I wanted to be half way done with payments. I found a lot of loop holes in the service department in which I’m not a happy customer. Over all I believe the dealership has its issues and need to be fixed to be a better dealership. I can go on and on but I’m going to stop here. I don’t believe I will get any feedback on my issues so I thank the company for allowing me to share the little experience on here.

A sales rep started to do the paperwork again after an hour or so of waiting. He said he would give it to the finance department. we were in disagreement about all the additional fees . We waited for an hour or so and no one called us in to finalize the purchase. I saw the sales rep and asked him how much longer do we have to wait. he said I thought you were finished. he went to investigate what happened and came back to tell me that the finance guy was not feeling well so he went home and did not inform anyone and the paperwork was sitting on his desk. Eventually they gave the paperwork to a finance rep in the Subaru dept to complete. We were there until 3.30pm. This experience of unprofessionalism and indifference of this dealer is not acceptable. I will never purchase a car from this dealer. Beware of all the promotions they send you , when you call to ask questions about the promotion they give you a lame excuse and try to sell you something else....!!!

Been here three times for the same problem caused AFTER an oil change. The fact that I’m denied a loaner car is unprofessional. I now have to sit for who knows how long for someone to tell me that the diagnostic showed nothing and to give me my car back all for it to happen again.

They damaged my vehicle and then pretended that they didn’t. Even though we have before and after pictures, horrible experience which will cost me 1000 to repair, sick of these liars . If a mistake happens , that’s fine but don’t yell and get abrasive with customers. I didn’t even know Michael Santallana was a manager after he was yelling at me. I had to speak with about 5 guys at the same time trying to frustrate me, so I called the police and filled out a report so I will take this to court. It’s amazing this kind of aggressive service still exist as if there will be no solution. I don’t know these guys nor do I think they purposely damaged me genesis, but if your service dept made a mistake , simply fix it instead of acting like fake detectives and being rude. I won’t argue , look at the before and after picture, even rob realized the damaged but couldn’t speak up because the mag angers were being overbearing. Smh it’s not a perfect world but this is not how u treat people, I’ll never refer nor purchase another vehicle from these xxxxx again.

Beware!
Beware! I could not have had a worse experience and it's not over! I had an appointment on 2/14/23 related to 2 recall notices for my Santa Fe. The "check engine" light was also on and the service rep noted it (on paper but not in the computer). I waited for a loaner but it never came so after 2 hours they called a Lyft. The next day when I called I was told the car was ready. I got dropped off the following day (2/16) by my wife who left (since my car was "ready"). After a 20-30 minute wait they pulled up my car. I was told that my service rep (Sam) was at lunch so they would email me the receipt. When I got in the car the "check engine" light was still on, so they took it back to investigate. An hour later I was told it appeared NONE of the work was done (not even the 2 recall notices!!). I was promised a loaner but 90 minutes later (after 3 1/2 hours of waiting) they said none were available and again I was called a Lyft. I ended up renting a car from Avis for $300 that weekend. I was called on 2/22 that the car was ready and went to get it the following day 2/23. The rep (manager) named Dawn recognized me (I suppose from being there 4 times in a 9 day period) and I explained the history to her. She was apologetic and said she would have the car brought immediately and personally would make sure the "check engine" light (and recall) work was done. To her credit, she was standing next to me when I got in the driver's seat to make sure all was good. I told her "You're not gonna believe it, but the check engine light is still on." She saw for herself, apologized again, and she said would get the bottom of things -and get me a loaner so I could be on my way. Sam was there too and also promised me a loaner. In the meantime, a tech supervisor named Allen attempted to trouble shoot the issue right there in the service driveway with the computer hooked up. He got the check engine light to turn off. He then showed me the oil level was "super low" (5 quarts) and maybe that was related. I told him the service tech had noted low oil level also so why wouldn't they address that before call me that the car was ready? I asked him to do the oil change right then since I had had such a bad experience so far. He said no they couldn't. When I got in to leave, the check engine light was now flashing! Allan said he's not seen that before. I finally got a loaner but it took more than 2 hours. On 2/27 my "new" service rep Santiago called and told me the car needs 3 new fuel injectors, new spark plugs, and a fuel system flush for $2,300. (1) This is major engine work for a car with 63,500 miles - conveniently 3,500 miles out of warranty (2) When Allan hooked up the computer (in front of me) he said nothing about any diagnostic codes related to fuel injectors and (3) I asked Santiago why the car would lose 5-6 quarts of oil and if that issue had been addressed? Because it's either an oil leak or the engine is burning copious amounts of oil. (Basic research shows synthetic oils can go 5-10k miles before replacement.) Santiago was going to look into this "oil" issue and get back to me. That was early on 2/27. I called him at 5 pm the same day and left a message. I called 2/28 around 4-5 pm and left a message. I called 11 am on 3/2 and left a message. I called both Santiago and Chris Vidal the service manager at 11 am on 3/3 and left messages. I called both again today (Saturday) at 11 am and 4 pm and left messages. All messages were voicemail. Here I sit, 19 days after bringing the car in, with no diagnosis as to why my car was so low on oil, and whether that was related to the "check engine" light or (alleged) ultimate diagnosis of (3 of 6) bad fuel injectors. At this point, I'm just looking for a return call so I can decide what to do. I would estimate I was in the service department waiting room a total of 12 hours over my 3 or 4 trips there, which doesn't count my next trip there.

Send car back find out after several calls i made i found out they changing oil pump is broken . They could not help me with ride and either to collect my belongings from the car. Not sure at this point if car is safe no one said anything tried to contact management no one calls back or answer my emails.

High markups (price gouging) with pushy and rude staff. My salesman's father also worked at the dealership, and pulled my salesman (the son) outside to ask him why he hasn't sold me the car yet and to tell him to be more pushy on me and make me buy the car, all where I could hear them. A second salesman also came into the office without introducing himself pushing me to overpay their outrageous dealer markup on a car. They also gave me incorrect information on Hyundai's 3 year/36,000 mile complementary service, saying it's unlimited servicing, when it is clearly not. One of the worst dealership experiences I've had.

i cant get a license plate for my car, nobody follows up, nobody answers the phone. When you call you go into a loop and eventually they hang up. They are really good with follow up when they want you to buy the car but radio silence once they got my money. if i would have known service would be so crappy i would have ordered a car from another dealer and waited. Sales person was very nice and trying to help but the rest of the company is terrible. I guess they don't car about clients. I'll make sure the service goes to another Hyundai dealer rather let them make the money than give another penny to Lehman.
